MMI Electrical Services – A Staffing Company You Can Trust

Safety

Safety Always Comes First.

At MMI Electrical Services, safety is at the heart of everything we do. Our mission is to provide our team members with a safe and secure work environment while they are on assignment. To ensure this, we train and educate every employee on essential safety practices.

We’ve implemented a safety guide that all employees must read and acknowledge. Additionally, we require each new hire to complete a safety training course and pass a safety assessment, helping us maintain high standards across every job site.

Injury Protocol: Your Next Steps.

• An onsite representative from the client contractor will accompany the injured employee to the treatment facility approved by MMI Electrical Services.

• Employees must complete a post-accident drug screen. Refusal may result in denial of workers’ compensation claims and disciplinary action, including termination.

• MMI Electrical Services will receive and share all bills, reports, and updates with the client contractor.

• Employees are required to keep MMI Electrical Services informed of their recovery progress and notify them immediately upon release to work by their healthcare provider.

• Failure to update MMI Electrical Services on healthcare situations may be seen as voluntary resignation. The company will not be liable for injuries sustained while performing unauthorized tasks.

OSHA Training

MMI Electrical Solutions maintains a team of OSHA-certified instructors who are always on hand to manage safety-related concerns and requirements. These experts regularly visit job sites to ensure that safety procedures are being implemented correctly and consistently.

Training Specific to Job Site

Contractors must provide the required training and oversight to prevent unsafe practices at their job sites. MMI Electrical Services ensures that all of our field employees strictly follow our safety guidelines and the contractor’s safety regulations, including hazard communication and site-specific policies.

Violations

If an employee identifies a safety violation, they must inform their supervisor or the MMI Electrical Solutions coordinator. If unresolved, a safety inspection request can be made to the Department of Labor. MMI Electrical Solutions applies progressive discipline, from warnings to suspension or discharge for serious violations.

Contractor rules

Employees recognize that some of MMI Electrical Solutions’ contractor clients may implement additional policies, procedures, and safety practices. They are expected to comply with these extra safety requirements. Failure to adhere to these policies may result in disciplinary actions, including possible immediate termination.

Injury

Employees injured on the job must immediately inform their site supervisor and MMI Electrical Solutions. We will promptly address legitimate claims and provide workers’ compensation for medical expenses and wages when applicable. MMI Electrical Solutions is experienced in investigating claims and will actively contest fraudulent ones.

Medical Information

Here’s a rewritten version that matches the length more closely: Employees authorize MMI Electrical Solutions to obtain all records related to any workplace injury or occupational illness involving our field staff. This includes doctor’s reports, follow-up notes, medical bills, and test results.

Early Return to Work Program

MMI Electrical Solutions acknowledges the importance of offering temporary modified or light-duty work for employees who cannot perform their regular tasks due to a work-related injury or illness, as soon as their treating physician approves it.

If No Light Duty Work is Available

If the contractor lacks light-duty work, MMI Electrical Solutions may assign limited or light-duty tasks to injured employees. Due to the limited availability of these positions, assignments will be made on a first-come, first-served basis to those whose medical restrictions qualify them for the available jobs.

After 30 Days

This program lasts no longer than thirty (30) days per incident. Employees understand that refusing an assignment within their work restrictions will result in the termination of their workers’ compensation benefits from that day. Exceptions to this policy include returns to work under the Family and Medical Leave Act.
